Tendonitis

Tendonitis occurs when the tendons in the wrist rub against the bone, causing inflammation of the tendons. Oftentimes, repetitive wrist motion is the root cause of tendonitis in the wrist as this places stress on the tendons.

Common symptoms of tendonitis in the hands or wrists include pain, tenderness, stiffness, mild swelling, and a decreased range of motion.
