Spondylolisthesis occurs when a vertebra slips out of line with an adjacent vertebra. This disorder is common amongst active children and adolescents, especially those who participate in sports/activities that put extreme amounts of pressure on the spine, such as gymnastics. Spondylolisthesis can also occur after a vertebra undergoes a trauma or stress fracture.

Symptoms include pain in the lower back/buttocks, muscle stiffness/tightness, and pain that radiates down the legs.

“This place is fantastic. We got right in—the doctors were great and the staff was very professional and kind. We were relieved this wasn't a big run-around and a bunch of nonsense. We would highly recommend.”
